To create galaxies and asteroids I used these very handy Liquid style brushes add-ons for Illustrator made by The Artifex Forge.
His liquid brush pack will allow you to create designs in this simple, popular style quickly and effectively. I highly recommend them to anybody who is interested in creating liquid style art, it will save you a lot of time!
